This year an upgraded medical database UpToDate version – UpToDate Advanced – is available for users. UpToDate Advanced includes new features – Pathways and Lab Interpretation, as well as AI search options.
UpToDate is the most trusted evidence-based clinical decision support resource at the point of care.
So far UpToDate featured clinical topics and graphics, drug information and interactions, patient education materials, medical calculators, as well as mobile and remote access options. UpToDate Advanced in addition to core content offers Pathways and Lab Interpretations.
Pathways is an interactive tool that creates workflows for screening, diagnosing and treating common diseases, thus guiding clinicians step-by-step through complex clinical decisions.
Lab Interpretation is a tool for interpreting abnormal laboratory results and determining appropriate next steps.
Now available is AI-enhanced search that allows searching in natural language, and in addition to the usual search results, AI returns passages from UpToDate topics.
