The collection of the Theological Seminary consists of 114 items from various branches, including philosophy, theory and philosophy of religion, Christian theology, moral theology, Christian liturgy and church history etc.

This collection was inherited by the Library of UL from the Theological Seminary.

The motive to create this collection was to preserve the research heritage (unpublished typewritten materials) of the teaching staff and students of the former Theological Seminary (1969-1990). Lecturers had to furnish teaching material for the needs of the Theological Seminary by writing a compendium in their own speciality as typewritten textbooks. 52 seminarians have graduated from the Seminary and began their service in the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church as certified clergymen.

The collection of the Theological Seminary is located in the Library at Raina Boulevard.
