Changes in working time
June
All branch libraries have regular working hours, except:
- Social Sciences Library: June 15-28:
- weekdays 10:00-18:00,
- Saturday, June 20 - 10:00-15:00,
- Saturday June 27 - 9:00-14:00;
- Aspazijas Boulevard Library:
- weekdays from 10:00 to 18:00;
- Saturdays from 9:00 to 17:00.
On June 27, shortened working hours in all libraries - 9:00-14:00
July/August
All libraries (except Library on Raiņa bulvāris, Library of Natural Sciences and Library at the House of Science) are closed from June 29 to August 25.
In the summer, librarians provide the following services:
- Library on Raiņa bulvāris from June 29 to July 10 on weekdays from 8:30 to 17:00;
- Library on Raiņa bulvāris is closed from July 11 to August 25
- Natural Sciences Library, Science House Libraries from June 29 to August 21 on weekdays from 8:30 to 17:00.
Misiņš Library and Library of Rare Editions and Manuscripts “Bibliotheca Rigensis” are closed from June 29 to July 31, as well as on August 24 and 25, the rest of the time - regular business hours.
On August 26-28, all libraries are open on weekdays from 10:00 to 18:00.
The Natural Sciences Library, Science House Library is available to LU students and employees 24/7 with a valid LU ID.
