The artificial intelligence tool ClinicalKey Reading Assistant is now available for UL Faculty of Medicine and Life Sciences. The Reading Assistant makes it easier to understand and navigate book chapters and journal articles.

ClinicalKey is a medical e-resource from Elsevier, containing valuable materials on 52 medical specialties. The e-resource is a competent guidance in scientific research, clinical practice, and medical studies. ClinicalKey contains various information resources, including more than 850 full-text journals, more than 1000 full-text e-books, clinical reviews, guidelines, multimedia etc.

ClinicalKey Reading Assistant helps understand and navigate text within the reading experience. It can be found on the left side of the platform when opening a book chapter or journal article. Through this AI-powered feature, you can generate summaries, ask questions in natural language, and jump directly to referenced sections within the literature. The tool analyzes user query in the context of the article, and all information is sourced exclusively from the viewed text.
