ProQuest Dissertations and Theses is the largest database of theses and master's theses in the world and contains more than 6 million works from more than 70 countries and 4100 institutions, of which more than 3,6 million are downloadable full texts in PDF format. Full texts are available for most dissertations that have been added to the database since 1997. Every year approximately 300000 new works are added. Database contains information in both humanities and social sciences and natural and medical sciences. The database contains information from year 1637 to the present day. All dissertations, which are published since 1980 and all master's theses, which are published since 1988, have a summary written by the author.
