The Library of UL in cooperation with Center of Culture Information Systems (KISC) gives the trial access to the new digital platform of rare and unique historical artifacts - Wiley Digital Archives. Trial period of the platform is until April 2nd, 2018.

Wiley Digital Archives is ongoing and dynamic digital project in  partnership  with the world’s leading societies, libraries and archives to digitize the unique and rare primary sources. By transposing these artifacts into a discoverable online format, researchers can easily access critical source materials that enable closer understanding and more nuanced interpretation of published work. The initial release of Wiley Digital Archives focuses on the subject strengths of such partners as New York Academy of Sciences and the Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland, Royal College of Physicians and other academic institutions, societies, libraries and archives, so it continues to enrich primary source content available at the digital platform and offers wholewide and continuous access to the scientific and individual research information. Among primary sources there are rare books, maps, manuscripts, periodicals, datasets, correspondence, photographs, illustrations etc.  The digital platform is available in UL (Lanet) computer network until the April 2nd, 2018. Please take a chance to try the digital platform and let us know your opinion! Your feedback would be useful to evaluate the necessity of this platform for your studies and research.   Please send your feedback  to info-bibl@lu.lv  or pass it here.
