It is devoted to all the Rectors of the University of Latvia, as personalities of their time and is available in virtual and stand formats.
Visitors to the virtual exhibition are invited to get acquainted with the biography, pedagogical growth and professional careers of the Rectors of the University of Latvia, as well as their contribution to the development of the University of Latvia. Link to virtual exhibition: www.mirkli.lu.lv
Meanwhile, the mobile exhibition stands give a brief insight into the life and works of the Rectors, as well as the statements of the Rectors and reminiscences about them from their peers. The exhibition can be seen at the University of Latvia's main building at Raiņa Boulevard 19 from 28.09.2017. The exhibition will be also be further exposed in other UL buildings.
This is already the sixth year since the Library of UL creates such exhibitions. The main topics of previous years were amateur arts collectives of the University of Latvia, famous personalities from the University of Latvia, the study process, daily life and festivity of students and teaching staff, also the treasures of the Library and Acta Universitatis Latviensis.
