JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) is the leading producer and provider of science videos, dedicated to advancing scientific research and education. Scientists, educators, and students worldwide use JoVE to support their research, teaching, and learning.
The trial grants access to all 25 000 videos in the fields of chemistry, biology, engineering and business, covering basic to advanced concepts and including experimental research. The platform has three sections – Research, Education and Business.
JoVE Research videos are filmed at the world’s top scientific institutions with a goal of bringing to life the intricate details of cutting-edge experiments enabling efficient learning and replication of new research methods and technologies. Included is the JoVE peer-reviewed scientific video journal that is indexed in PubMed and Web of Science, JoVE Encyclopedia of Experiments and JoVE Visualize tool that aligns scientific literature with experiment videos.
JoVE Education videos empower effective teaching of science concepts and laboratory methods in undergraduate and graduate courses. These videos enable quick in-depth comprehension of complex STEM subjects to increase student engagement and learning outcomes. Included are JoVE Core video textbooks for undergraduate courses, JoVE Science Education video library of experiment demonstrations and JoVE Lab Manual for teaching undergraduate lab courses. During the trialJ oVE Quiz is also available for quiz creation.
JoVE Business offers video textbooks to support undergraduate courses, using animations to explain complex concepts in Finance, Marketing and Microeconomics.
