UL users have been granted trial access to The Central and Eastern European Online Library that offers full text documents in the fields of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts from and about Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe until September 30, 2025.
The trial provides access to The Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL)'s wide range of specialized, peer-reviewed academic and independent journals, as well as open access e-books and grey literature.
CEEOL covers more than 2972 Social Sciences and Humanities journal titles from 34 countries, with more than 1 million articles published in more than 30 languages - 35% of the included journal articles are published in English, German and French. This allows access to the primary source in one repository and fosters the language diversity in academic research and publishing. The CEEOL coverage is growing monthly by 6000 newly included and indexed journal articles.
CEEOL from the very beginning took responsibility and advocacy for academic publishing in Social Sciences and Humanities in the respective (minor) native languages. Since 2001, CEEOL supports publishers in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe with a range of indexing, archiving and distribution models, from fee-based paid content to open access inclusion.
The trial offers only on- campus access. ACCESS
