It helps you quickly assess the relevance of books and chapters and understand the most important concepts. Research Assistant can be found on the left side of the screen for PDFs, or on the right side of the screen for EPUBs. If the tool does not appear, the publisher might not have granted permission. EBSCO AI Insights is an artificial intelligence tool available in EBSCO Central & Eastern European Academic Source (CEEAS). It can be found by records in the list of search results. It generates concise summaries, presenting 2-5 key points for each document. If the “Generate AI insights” button does not appear, the content is too short, a publisher might not have granted permission, the article is from a book (the tool is not available for e-book collections) or is not from the CEEAS database. AI Insights are available in the language of the interface, regardless of the full-text language. You are welcome to provide feedback on the AI generated results.
Natural Language Search is now also available on EBSCO platform. It is an option that allows users to query using everyday language, and it can be enabled by the search box.
On May 22 at 1:00 PM, a webinar on the new features in EBSCO platforms will be held. This will include AI Insights and Natural language search as well. Register here.
