After great demand, the UL Library has secured access to the artificial intelligence tool Scopus AI at the University of Latvia.

In February of this year, a trial access to the AI tool Scopus AI was organized at the UL. After receiving a lot of feedback, the UL Library has managed to include this tool in UL subscribed e-resources, planning the start of access on May 1.

Scopus AI is an intuitive generative artificial intelligence tool that extracts information exclusively from the abstract and citation database Scopus. It searches relevant documents from across 7,000+ publishers, focusing on those published since 2003, and instantly generates referenced, easy-to-follow summary with options to expand the results. Scopus AI uses natural language processing, and queries can be asked in the language of your choice.

Scopus AI is a research assistant that helps conduct research more efficiently by quickly gathering reliable information, as well as highlighting the most important keywords, most influential papers, leading experts, and related queries.
